2009 ALMS Petit Le Mans, so what did I miss?!

RAIN, that's it.

Actually the weekend opened with a huge (I mean, huge) crash by Scott Sharp in his Highcroft Acura.
The impact was so violent the car flipped more than three times, and a very few (broken) pieces of the car were left when dust has settled. Fortunately the driver was fine, but the car was ready for the junkyard (no, Acura didn't call).
In record time, Acura had a brand new chassis shipped from Los Angeles and a new car was assembled in a 20 hours record time.
The actual race saw the usual fight between Audi and Peugeot for the overall victory, until rain came, and while McNish was asking for the monsoon tires on the radio, the Peugeot's drivers managed to keep the cars on the track grabbing a strong 1-2 victory.
Just to help you imagining all of this, a small but quite comprehensive video-summarize is waiting you after the jump, courtesy of YouTube obviously.

2009 ALMS Petit Le Mans, Streaming, LIVE! --->>> OVER damn rain

EDIT: race called due to rain, result:
- Peugeot 1-2 in P1
- Dyson 1st in P2
- Risi first in GT2

Ok, I 'm late as I wasn't at home, and the race right now is red flagged as heavy rain is preventing any sort of activity on the track.
The cars have been lined-up in the pit-lane, and crews can't touch them, and so drivers.
Right now the previous race from Mosport is on, waiting for the action to start again.
Follow the jump for the streaming, the actual race should be back again soon.
Peugeot is leading with Montagny, sister car is second while the Audi R15 is in third position.
Dryson Racinbg is leading in P2, and Risi Competizione is at the head of GT2.
As you know no one is racing in GT1 anymore since Corvette pulled the plug on its program to focus on the new GT2 car. Too bad.
